Chomping at the Bit

I can not wait to start reading Fearless Fourteen the newest book in the Plum series by Janet Evanovich. My husband is leaving soon for Alaska for five weeks so I am trying not to read this until after he leaves so that I can spend as much time as possible with him before he leaves and it will be a nice little pick me up. The Plum series is about out of work lingerie buyer Stephanie Plum who blackmails her cousin Vinnie into giving her a job as a bounty hunter. Despite her ineptitude as a bounty hunter, Stephanie has plenty of dumb luck. I suppose you could call these books mysteries but really they're not all that mysterious, but definitely good for a laugh. The characters are hilarious especially one of my favorites, Lula. To put it kindly, Lula is a plus sized woman with a plus sized attitude that once worked as a ho but now acts as Stephanie's sidekick.
