Inspirational Laundry Rooms

Here are some cool laundry room ideas that I have come across in blogs and magazines. The photos below from Somerset Life show laundry detergent and softener stored in glass containers. I think the designs on the bottles were made using those Rub-Ons available at craft stores, however, using etching cream and a stencil would achieve the same look and probably last longer. Either way, I think that the glass containers are much prettier than the bright plastic containers.

Here are some ways to hide washers, dryers, and clothes hampers. I also like the look of the apothecary jars filled with laundry supplies.

I think this is a clever way to store lightbulbs. I usually forget where I put them in the first place. A glass container keeps them in sight while keeping them from getting accidentally crunched.
