Look Familiar?

I've noticed some overlap in the Halloween crafts and decorations shown in the October issues of a few of my favorite magazines.


Etched Leafy Pumpkins:

These leafy vine encircled pumpkins glow from within. The shallow carving technique helps the pumpkins stay fresher longer than if the design had been cut though completely. The leaf design is appropriate for both Halloween and Thanksgiving which means the pumpkins can be displayed longer than the typical creepy Halloween jack-o'-lantern.

Eerie Images:

Turn your home into a haunted house by adding ghosts cut from frosted window film to a mirror (or perhaps a window or picture frame).
