From My Stack of Magazines: March 2011

House Beautiful was absolutely stunning this month with an issue devoted to the color pink. My favorite image was the tablescape using antique Anna Weatherley china. I would love to use the colors in those dishes as the accent colors for my dining room.

The pink theme of was far more subtle in the elegant Alabama house designed by Tracery Interiors. A striped slipcovered chair adds a pop of color to the gray office. The screen in the bathroom provides privacy while also creating a dramatic backdrop for the tub. A variety of patterns and textures are used to add interest to the restful monochromatic master bedroom.

I love this vibrant and playful tablescape by Dylan Lauren  (owner of Dylan's Candy Bar). It would be an amazing tablescape for a child's birthday party.

Apparently Shrinky Dinks aren't just for kids anymore, just look at this adorable bracelet made using Shrinky Dinks. Check out the Country Living website for the instructions.
